Made in America 2019 Indianapolis
Watching TV might not be a waste of time. Not long ago John Rich, the country western singer, was promoting an event this October, 2019, in Indianapolis, entitled Made in America.
Yes, manufacturing overseas is often less expensive, cheaper; however, it's important to remember that when you're dealing with manufacturing in a foreign country and do not speak the language or have representatives working for you, if they ship unacceptable product, you may have received and paid for garbage without any recourse.
Many years ago, my mother, a Hungarian immigrant, was horrified to learn that bra manufacturers were closing US manufacturing facilities opting to manufacture overseas.
Many of us look for price savings. After all if we buy in big box stores, we can get bargains. Some of those stores even do their own private label manufacturing, cutting prices even more and increasing their profit margin.
My mother's exact comment was --- "don't they realize that they are putting their neighbors out of work."
Life has certainly changed in the last 30 years. But, there is a huge positive. Entrepreneurs are popping up every day with ideas for their own businesses. It is no longer necessary to have a lavish office or a huge store, it's possible to create a business, launch a website, and compete. Yes, it is even possible to be a budding entrepreneur and create a product manufactured here in the United States.
I am excited beyond words that I will have the opportunity to showcase my product Bezi™ Bra Discs™ in Indianapolis at Made in America. Watch the great videos on their website and check out all of the other amazing vendors.
We look forward to seeing you there. Let's celebrate all of our amazing manufacturers who support Made in America.
